Maybe you know the feeling. You're capable of so much more than your current circumstances suggest. You can see the bigger version of your life — the one where you're fully in your genius, leading with purpose, building something that matters — but the gap between that vision and your everyday reality feels impossibly wide. The noise is deafening. The to-do list is endless. And somewhere in the chaos, the most important things keep getting pushed to tomorrow.
That's exactly the gap I've spent my entire career helping people close. Not with motivation speeches or generic advice — but with intentional structure, proven systems, and the kind of clarity that actually sticks.
For more than 15 years I've been doing two things simultaneously — building one of Charlottesville's most recognized real estate brokerages, and teaching other leaders how to do the same. Story House Real Estate has become a regional model for culture-first growth, agent development, and scalable systems — earning recognition as an Inc. Best Places to Work two years running and REAL Broker's Best Small Team Nationwide in 2025.
But the work I'm most proud of isn't the awards. It's the agent who finally stopped being the bottleneck in their own business. The team leader who went from overwhelmed to operating like a true CEO. The entrepreneur who looked at their calendar for the first time and actually recognized their own priorities in it.
I've spoken at the National Association of REALTORS®, Inman, and REAL Rise — sharing stages with Tom Ferry, Michael Hyatt, Dan Sullivan, Brian Buffini, Barbara Corcoran, and John Maxwell — and delivered keynotes and leadership training to more than 10,000 professionals annually. My frameworks help organizations navigate leadership transitions, scale with intention, and build teams that don't fall apart when things get hard.
I know something about things getting hard. I've finished a custom home after our builder went bankrupt, navigated a year that included losing my sister, a melanoma diagnosis, and going through IVF — and watched my business have its strongest year on record through all of it. Not because I'm tougher than everyone else. Because I had built something with enough structure to hold even when I couldn't.
That's what I teach. And I believe with everything in me that you are capable of more than you're currently building toward.
You got into this business — this life — because you had a vision for something bigger. You wanted freedom. Impact. A business that worked for you instead of the other way around. But somewhere along the way the urgent crowded out the important, the noise drowned out the signal, and the vision got buried under a thousand tasks that feel necessary but aren't actually moving you forward.
You're not lazy. You're not lacking ambition. You're lacking structure. And structure, it turns out, is the thing that sets you free.
